We manage the operation ourselves. We have not outsourced it, nor do we plan to outsource it in the future.
Our primary service is that of storage, where we enable you to store inventory for a short period. To support this core service, we also offer value added services within the warehouse, and domestic transportation, if required.
We do not offer up-country transportation service. The scope of our transportation service is very limited, and restricted to domestic pickups and drops.
No, at Qwixpace, we do not ‘rent out space’ in square feet. We only offer ‘storage’ as a service that is billed in terms of ‘pallet-days’ consumed. We equip our facility with the necessary hardware infrastructure, team, technology, processes and manage it ourselves. We take the complete end to end responsibility for your inventory from the time it is delivered to us, till it leaves our facility.
We maintain a fixed, telescopic rate card for all customers, where billing is done for ‘pallet-days’ consumed, and the rate applicable keeps dropping as the ‘pallet-days’ increase. For example, whether you store 1 pallet with us for 15 days (1 pallet x 15 days = 15-pallet-days), or 3 pallets for 5 days (3 pallets x 5 days = 15 pallet-days), the storage fee would be the same. Further, the rate per pallet-day charged to you will be lower if you consume 5000 pallet-days in a month, than if you consume 50 pallet-days in a month. Please also note that goods that require special handling (extremely heavy / fragile) or storage conditions (high value, needing temperature control), may attract a higher fee that may be determined on a case to case basis.
We will charge you only for the pallets you store for each day. I.e. 5 pallet-days for Day 1 + 2 pallet-days for Day 2 = 7 pallet-days.
Yes, you may reserve space for a required duration, if you wish. To confirm a reservation, the invoicing & payment for the entire duration needs to be made in advance. Please note that by reserving space in advance, you secure the space for yourself, but lose the flexibility of paying only what you use.
No, we do not accept open boxes. Your boxes need to be closed / sealed when handed over to us.
We accept both, single SKU & multiple SKU cartons. But please note that in case of a multiple SKU carton, it must carry a unique ID assigned by you, for easier identification when it needs to be dispatched.
Yes. Our robust WMS (Warehouse Mgmt System) enables us to track the complete lifecycle of every box in our facility - from the time it is handed over to us till it is despatched. Subject to receipt of correct & complete receipt of product masters for the inventory delivered to us from your end, we guarantee 100% inventory accuracy in storage & despatches, and adherence to FIFO / FEFO requirements.
We do not store F&V, highly inflammable, explosive, radioactive, toxic, hazardous material, medical waste, or any material that is regulated under any applicable law, or that may attract plagues or insects, or may otherwise be harmful or unsafe for storage or handling.
No. We sign a contract just once every year where we record the rates & terms, and issue a NOC for you to add our address as APOB in your statutory records. You may then transact at will, throughout the year, irrespective of the frequency and size of each transaction.
Technical integration of our WMS with your ERP / Accounting system is not needed if your business does not need to avail our services often. Transactions can be updated in your system and information can be shared back & forth manually. But if you see your business availing our services frequently or round the year, you may want to consider integration between our IT systems for seamless data flow back & forth.
Due to the nature of the service, we are unable to offer credit. You need to keep a refundable security deposit with us, based on an estimate of the volume of space and duration you expect to consume. Billing is done at the end of the calendar month, or when you remove all your inventory from our facility, whichever is earlier. The deposit is refunded as soon as 100% payment is received against invoices raised.
Yes, you may station one or more persons at our facility full-time, subject to availability of space. Please note that additional charges will be payable based on the number of workstation-days occupied in the office space at our facility.
